Great abundance of local businesses
The guys here should all be called Arthur it seems. I've had 2 jobs on my car done by this garage. One clutch change and one rear bearings/brake shoes. Both jobs I had to go back and get them to finish it properly. The clutch was done fine and everything but wasn't bled properly, and then when challenged about it they tried to tell me that that's normal... come on!The bearings and brake shoes again was done fine however they hadn't readjusted the handbrake after fitting the new brake shoes so had to ask them to do that. Again, they tried telling me that the brakes need to bed in... really? He then also tried to say it was like that when it came in... Yeh, alright then....Both occasions they finished the jobs to a standard I was happy with when prompted. But my gripe with this garage is, why not just finish the job properly the first time?They are obviously decent engineers as the car is running sweet now, it just seems to be laziness. And it's just a shame really.If it was my wife picking the car up, I get the feeling they may have just fobbed her off like they tried with me. And now we would have had an inadequate car.
